Our history

FCTV Formations Conseil was born from a concrete need encountered in the agri-food sector: enabling professionals to better maintain and sharpen their cutting tools.
In these professions where tools are used daily, their condition and sharpening quality have a direct impact on the efficiency of the operation and the comfort of use.

To address this issue, FCTV Formations Conseil developed its first training programs, combining technical knowledge, demonstrations, and hands-on practice.
This experience gained on the ground still forms the foundation of our expertise today.

Each tool requires observation, precision, and technical mastery. We pay special attention to the acquisition of proper techniques and to meeting the requirements of the profession.

Our goal is to enable each trainee to develop the skills they need to carry out their work and to cope with the situations they encounter in the field.

Learning through practice

At FCTV Formations Conseil, we believe that mastering a technical skill is primarily acquired through practice.
Our training courses therefore place great emphasis on demonstrations, the manipulation of tools, and practical application.
Understanding your equipment, recognizing its wear and tear, identifying the appropriate technique, mastering the sharpening technique, and knowing how to properly maintain your tools: each training aims to impart concrete and lasting skills.

Training in the handling and maintenance of tools is learning to:

maintaining optimal cutting quality; ;
working with greater precision and efficiency; ;
reduce unnecessary effort caused by insufficiently sharpened tools;
help prevent musculoskeletal disorders (MSDs), particularly those associated with physical strain and repetitive movements;
extend the lifespan of its equipment; ;
reduce premature replacements; ;
become more independent in maintaining your tools;
develop genuine technical expertise.

Our trainees say it best

120-hour training: Sharpener, remouler, itinerant. Excellent introduction to the profession of a remouler, both in terms of the program and the pedagogy. I recommend it for both personal and professional projects.

Currently undergoing training. The team is nice, the machines are in sufficient numbers and there are replacement supplies available if needed. I feel I am gradually receiving the information I need to be able to exercise fully transparency regarding the costs to be taken into account.
